The Blocker.

The Blocker.

The body says "Feed Me More" even though I know it's wrong, “What to do, what to do?
I feel the pain "please go away" I feel the urge “What to do, what to do?
Oh just one won't hurt, just one can take that pain away. “What to do, what to do?
But one can turn to two or three and maybe four. What to do, what to do?
This decision is inside me and eating me alive. What to do, what to do?
You have taken my body, my heart, my mind. What to do, what to do?
Well guess what you urge, you distraction, you frustration, you evil thing you.
You cannot have my body no more.
You cannot have my heart no more.
You cannot have my mind no more
I have chosen to let you go and take me back
I will not let you have my soul.
I'm in charge of me, and this me says "NO".

I have devoted in writing this poem because I have heard and seen people facing hard times and I am trying to help.
Addiction can take control of you and I'm reaching out to those and saying it's never too late to get help or help others in need. Saving a life is worth it and everyone deserves a second chance.

I hope you enjoyed my poem.
Love to inspire others
